How We Work
Clear Communication At Every Stage
Every job starts with understanding what you need. We will often ask for photographs or information first so we can review the work and give you a useful idea of what is involved.
From there, we provide a clear estimate and arrange a survey where required. Once the work is accepted, your booking is confirmed and added to our system.
We send email and text reminders before the appointment, so you know when we are coming and what happens next.
Once on site, we work carefully, keep the area tidy and complete the agreed electrical work to a high standard, with testing and certification provided where required.

Shield Safe Electrical is an NICEIC Approved Contractor, registration number 616023.
John has more than 17 years' experience across residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations, while the business now focuses primarily on residential and smaller commercial work.
Since starting the company, the team has completed around 1,500 jobs, including approximately 200 consumer unit upgrades, 70 EV charger installations and 50 house rewires.

John works alongside electricians Jake and Danielle, with Charlie in the fourth year of his apprenticeship and Theo in his second year.
Keeping the team close-knit helps us maintain consistent standards, communicate clearly and make sure customers know who they are dealing with throughout the job.

Outside work: Enjoys playing golf.

Electrician
Fully qualified electrician covering all jobs, mainly EICRs, consumer unit upgrades and EV chargers.
Outside work: Into boxing and hiking.
Danielle
Electrician
Time served electrician carrying out rewires, small jobs and call outs.
Outside work: Likes to spend time with her horses and takes them to shows.
Charlie
4th Year Apprentice
Fourth year apprentice assisting the team across all areas of our work.
Outside work: Enjoys fishing and cars.
Theo
2nd Year Apprentice
Second year apprentice assisting the team on jobs.
