Overview
Finding The Cause, Not Just The Symptom
Electrical faults can be frustrating, particularly when the cause is not obvious. A circuit may trip intermittently, a socket may stop working or part of the installation may behave differently from one day to the next.
Rather than guessing, proper fault finding is about testing the electrical system methodically and identifying where the problem is coming from.
Once we understand the cause, we explain what we have found and what is needed to put it right.
From straightforward repairs to more involved diagnostics, our aim is to leave you with a safe, reliable solution rather than a temporary fix.

What To Avoid
Mistakes We Help You Avoid
Electrical faults are often made worse when the symptoms are treated without identifying what is actually causing the problem.
Repeatedly Resetting A Tripping Circuit
A circuit that keeps tripping is doing so for a reason. Proper testing helps identify the underlying fault rather than repeatedly resetting it.
Replacing Parts At Random
Changing components without diagnosing the problem can waste time and money while leaving the original fault unresolved.
Ignoring Intermittent Problems
Electrical faults that come and go can still indicate a genuine issue and should be investigated rather than assumed to have disappeared.
Using Temporary Fixes
A short-term workaround may restore power but not resolve the cause. We focus on finding the issue and recommending the correct repair.
